Why the page order differs from the main ranking

Here the network block weighs 40% of the score, against 10% in the overall VPNRadarLab ranking, where privacy alone takes 30%. That explains why Surfshark lands eighth overall but second on a Malaysia-focused list: its footprint of 100 countries and 4500+ servers does the lifting, while Nine Eyes membership and a policy that temporarily stores your connection IP and timestamps (deleted within 15 minutes after a session) pull privacy down to 4.4. Its censorship bypass score of 1.9 is weak too. FastestVPN gets the same network lift, then gives back points: no published obfuscation, so bypass scores 0, and security manages only 2.5. Its policy records the day and duration of each connection, though not the IP.

A Malaysian company on a Malaysian list

Bolehvpn is the only provider here registered inside Malaysia (its terms are governed by Seychelles law, and it has run since 2007). A company inside the country is within reach of the local regulator regardless of offshore paperwork. It ranks 26th on this page with a score of 2.67, covers 13 countries and 35 servers, and supports a warrant canary instead of an external audit.

What the 37 services actually disclose
