What you pay to keep X-VPN running: the first term, then renewals at the published renewal price. Where no renewal price is published, plans shorter than a year are counted as repeat payments at the current price; longer plans show a dash after their term. Converted to euros at the rates used in our data (1 USD = €0.86). The lowest cost for each period is marked.

X-VPN has a single paid tier, Premium, and the difference between terms is large. A month costs $11.99, a year $47.99 (about $4 per month), two years $69.99. On the pricing page, the two-year plan is labeled $2.99 per month, although $69.99 over 24 months works out to $2.92. In euros, the cheapest entry comes to about €2.5 per month, against a market median of €3.13.

What happens after the first term

The main unknown here is the renewal price. The yearly and two-year plans renew automatically, once a year, at "the then-current price", and the service does not publish that figure. That is why the table shows a dash for the cost after the first term: two years on the long plan come to €60.19, while there is nothing to base a third-year calculation on. Paying month to month without a discount adds up to €371.21 over three years.

The site calculates the 76% discount from the monthly price over the full term ($287.96 for 24 months). Against two yearly plans ($95.98), the two-year option saves about 27%.

What's included and how to pay

Premium already includes a static IP, a malware scan for downloads, a fake identity generator with dark web monitoring, and PC Cleaner. You can connect 5 devices at once, but no more than 3 on a single platform. The free Basic version works without registration, with ads and 26 regions.

You can pay by card through Stripe, PayPal, in app stores (App Store, Google Play, Amazon, Galaxy Store, Huawei AppGallery), or with cryptocurrency. A crypto payment is a one-off charge with no auto-renewal. It gets no extra discount, and crypto payments are non-refundable; see the page about refunds for details. A separate discount is promised for students. You can compare it with other services in the pricing and payments section.
