How to cancel X-VPN and turn off auto-renewal

How you cancel X-VPN depends on how you paid. A subscription paid by card through Stripe or via PayPal renews automatically. Payment in cryptocurrency is a one-time purchase: the term simply runs out on its own, and there is nothing to cancel.

Cancelling from your account

On the xvpn.io website, open My Account and click Cancel Subscription. Under the service's terms, you must do this at least 3 days before the end of the paid term, so don't leave it until the last evening. If the button doesn't work, you can request cancellation from support: live chat is available around the clock, and there is also email at support@xvpn.io. Keep the support reply or the cancellation email until you are sure the next charge hasn't gone through.

Subscription from an app store

Premium is also sold through Google Play, App Store, Amazon, Galaxy Store and Huawei AppGallery. If you bought it there, cancel it in the subscriptions section of the store where you paid. Deleting the app from your phone does not stop the subscription.

How much you'll be charged on renewal

The two-year plan (€60.19 for the first term) and the yearly plan (€41.27) renew once a year at the "current renewal price". X-VPN does not publish that price in advance, so the amount of the next charge may differ from your first payment. After the first two years, the two-year plan renews for one year at a time. The monthly plan renews at the same price, €10.31. The service does not state whether it sends a reminder before charging, so it's best to note the expiry date yourself.

Cancellation and refunds are handled separately. You can get a refund within 30 days, but only for a first subscription purchased through Google Play, PayPal or Stripe; cryptocurrency payments and purchases from resellers are not refundable. See X-VPN refund terms for details.
