How to cancel ZoogVPN and turn off auto-renewal

A ZoogVPN subscription renews itself until you cancel it, and the service does not promise reminders before each charge. You can cancel at any time, and the method depends on where you paid.

Paying on the website

Log in to your account at app.zoogvpn.com/plans, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel. If you prefer going through support, write to the chat, use the form or the Telegram bot, but no later than 3 days before the end of your paid term. Any later and your request may not be processed in time, and the subscription will be charged again. Deleting your account does not stop payments: ZoogVPN explicitly states that recurring billing must be cancelled at the source. If you paid through PayPal, check its automatic payments settings to make sure ZoogVPN is no longer listed there. For a card, the same can be done at your bank if a charge still arrives after cancellation.

Paying through the App Store or Google Play

The service cannot cancel a subscription purchased in the iPhone app; that is done in the Apple subscriptions settings. In-app purchases on Android go through Google Play, and cancellation is handled there too. If you started a trial through the store, cancel it before the last day: ZoogVPN does not refund the first charge after a trial period.

What happens after cancellation

Premium runs until the end of the paid term, after which paid locations and features are switched off. No money is refunded for the remaining days. Cancellation and refunds at ZoogVPN are handled separately, and you are entitled to a refund only within the first 7 days and under several conditions, which are covered on the money-back guarantee page. The service does not publish the renewal price for annual and biennial plans in advance, so cancel before the billing date if you do not plan to renew.
