Where the discount comes from
VeePN discounts of 81–87% on the two-year plan are calculated from the monthly rate multiplied by the full term. Those terms include 4 bonus months: the yearly plan runs for 16 months, the two-year plan for 28. So the big figure on the page describes a long prepayment, and no coupon code is needed for it.
The best deal on the site right now is Basic for 28 months: €47.92, about €1.71 per month. The 16-month plan costs €41.14, meaning the extra 12 months come in at under €7. Monthly Basic costs €10.31 without a discount.
Where the catch is
The price applies only to the first term. The site does not show what VeePN will charge on renewal, and auto-renewal is on by default for card and PayPal. If you take a long plan for the discount, write down the expiry date and check the price in advance. More about renewal on the VeePN pricing page.
The difference between Basic, Pro and Max is mostly the number of devices: 5, 10 and 20, plus antivirus, Breach Alert and Alternative ID on the higher plans. Note that the terms of use allow 10 simultaneous VPN connections, so for the 20 devices on Max it makes sense to check with support before paying extra.
Coupons and other discounts
