VeePN free trial: length, terms and payment details

VeePN gives you 3 free days, but on the website the trial is tied only to the 12- and 24-month plans, and you need a card or PayPal to start. The trial is available in the apps for macOS, Windows, iOS, Android and TVs. Auto-renewal is on by default, so if you do nothing, the paid term of the chosen plan starts after the trial days.

How much time you have to decide

The terms ask you to cancel the subscription 48 hours before the end of the period: through your account settings in the app store or by email to support. If the rule also applies to the trial, you are left with about one day out of three to test the service. It is easier to cancel on the very first day and keep the confirmation. What you will be charged after the trial days

The amount depends on the plan. Basic costs $47.84 for 16 months or $55.72 for 28 months, Pro and Max cost more. The website does not show the renewal price after the first term. If you start the trial in the app through the App Store or Google Play, the charge goes through the store, and you need to cancel the subscription there as well.

If three days were not enough

After payment, there is a 30-day money-back guarantee for plans of 6 months or longer. The terms contain caveats: payments for the trial period and renewals are not refunded, the refund is given once per customer, and a chargeback through the bank removes your right to one.
