How to cancel Turbo VPN and turn off auto-renewal

The paid Turbo VPN subscription renews on its own: auto-renewal is on by default. You can cancel it yourself, without writing to support. According to the service terms, you need to turn off auto-renewal on the platform where you bought the subscription, and do it at least 24 hours before the end of the paid period. If you miss the deadline, the next payment will be charged, and the service usually does not refund the renewal payment.

Where to turn off auto-renewal

It depends on where you paid. A subscription from the App Store or Google Play is canceled in the subscription settings of the store itself: deleting the app from your phone does not stop the payment. Purchases through the Huawei and Xiaomi stores work the same way. If you paid on the website with a card, cryptocurrency or a gift card, you need to turn off renewal where you made the purchase. If you do not remember where you bought the subscription, find the email or receipt from the first payment: it shows who charged you.

How much the renewal costs

The monthly Gold and Platinum plans renew at the same price, €10.31 and €12.03 per month. For the 12, 24 and 27 month plans, Turbo VPN does not publish the renewal price. Gold for 27 months is paid as a single payment of €77.39, three months of which are bonus. What the next amount will be is unknown in advance, and a long term is easy to forget.

How not to miss the date

The service does not say whether it sends renewal reminders. Write down the end date of the period and set a renewal reminder two or three days before it.

Will VPN access disappear after cancellation?

Turbo VPN has a free tier: a phone version with ads and a small number of servers. The service does not say whether your account switches to it after cancellation.
