How to cancel VPN Proxy Master and turn off auto-renewal

VPN Proxy Master subscriptions renew automatically by default, and you need to switch off renewal no later than 24 hours before the billing date. You cancel it on the platform where you bought it, so first remember exactly how you paid.

Where renewal is switched off

If you bought the subscription in the App Store, Google Play or Huawei AppGallery, you switch off renewal in the subscriptions section of the store itself. Deleting the app from your phone does not stop the subscription, and the charges will continue.

If you paid on the website by card, PayPal or bitcoin, you turn off auto-renewal in your VPN Proxy Master account settings. The account is tied to your email, so log in with the address you used when buying.

What happens if you are late

The 24-hour rule applies to every plan the same way: the monthly plan at $12.99, the yearly plan at $79.99 and the 27-month plan at $99.99. The website does not show the price for the next period, so you cannot find out the renewal amount in advance. Whether the service sends a reminder before the charge, it does not say.

If the renewal has already gone through, getting your money back is harder. The 30-day guarantee covers only the first purchase on the website, renewals are not included, and purchases in the app stores are refunded under the store's rules. Details are in VPN Proxy Master's refund policy.

What to check after cancelling

Open the subscription again and make sure the end date is shown instead of the next payment date. The service has a free version of the app, but its limitations are not described on the website. If you do not want auto-renewal in principle, have a look at VPNs without auto-renewal.
