How to cancel UFO VPN and turn off auto-renewal

UFO VPN renews subscriptions automatically, and the service does not say whether it sends a reminder before the charge. How you cancel depends on where you paid: on the website or in an app store. Deleting the app from your phone is not enough; you turn off renewal in the subscription settings.

Subscription purchased on the website

Sign in to your account at ufovpn.io with the email your Premium plan is tied to and turn off auto-renewal. Since no reminder is promised, it is best to write down the end date of the paid period right after the purchase. If you cannot sign in, email support at support@ufovpn.io: the service has no live chat, but it does have a Telegram channel.

Subscription purchased in the App Store or Google Play

Cancel such a subscription through the store itself, in its subscription settings. Refunds for purchases made in the store also follow the store's rules.

How much you are charged on renewal

The monthly plan renews at the same price, $11.99. The two-year plan costs $83.99 for 28 months, 4 of them bonus months, and then renews at $49.99 per year. The terms of service, however, say a plan renews for the same length, so the site and the terms disagree. The annual plan costs $49.99 for 13 months, and UFO VPN does not state what it renews at.

After cancellation

UFO VPN does not say whether it moves your account to the free plan after the paid period ends, and the website does not state the limits of the free version either. The terms promise a full refund for the first website purchase within 7 days, while the website itself says 30 days.
