UFO VPN has a promo code field at checkout, but the service does not publish codes of its own on its website, and there was no separate sale at the time of checking. We do not copy codes from coupon sites: the UFO VPN discount is already built into the long-term plans.
Where the 75% comes from
The prices on the site are in dollars. A month costs $11.99, a year with a bonus month is $49.99 for 13 months, and two years with four bonus months is $83.99 for 28 months, which works out to $2.99 per month. The service calculates the 75% discount from the monthly plan multiplied by 28 months, which comes to $335.72. Nobody would pay that, so it is fairer to compare the long-term plans with each other: two years work out roughly 85 cents per month cheaper than one year.
The catch with renewals
After the first 28 months, the two-year plan renews for a year at $49.99, and a month then costs about $4.17 instead of $2.99. The service does not state the renewal price for the annual plan; the terms only say that the renewal period matches the original one. Auto-renewal is enabled by default, so the second payment at the new price will go through automatically unless you turn it off in advance. All plans are listed side by side on the UFO VPN pricing page.
What to check before paying
The website promises a 30-day money-back guarantee, but the terms only guarantee a full refund within 7 days of the first purchase on the site; after that, the service decides. Details are in the review of the UFO VPN money-back guarantee. You can pay by card, through PayPal, or with cryptocurrency; the payment is charged in dollars, and your bank may charge a conversion fee. If you want to check the speeds and the countries you need first, install the free version and pick up a paid plan later.
