Trend Micro VPN Proxy One refund policy: how to ask for your money back

Trend Micro refunds the full purchase price within 30 days of purchase, but only if you paid through the official Trend Micro online store. The only deduction is shipping, and digital subscriptions have none. If you bought your subscription elsewhere, this guarantee does not apply to you.

How to submit a request

The process is described in Trend Micro's help article. Open the refund form in the TrendLife help center, choose "Refund a Recent Purchase", set the sales channel to "Online", specify the product and reason, fill in your contact details, and click "Agree and Continue". The request will appear in the support section of your Trend Micro account. Once a support agent processes it, you will get an email, and you can send any clarifications by replying within the same ticket.

Where the terms fall short

A purchase in the App Store on iPhone is not covered by the online store guarantee: for in-app purchases, Trend Micro has separate instructions, and the refund decision there depends on the store's rules. The 7-day trial is only available in the App Store, so you need to cancel the trial in your Apple subscriptions as well, before the end of the seventh day.

The service does not say whether it refunds money for unused time after 30 days or for a charge when auto-renewal kicks in. Renewal is enabled by default and happens every year at the current price, which Trend Micro does not publish in advance.
