Touch VPN not working? Common causes and what to check
4 things to check, built from what Touch VPN publishes about its apps, protocols and support. We do not test connections ourselves.
What to check
Check the provider’s status page for an outage (no).
Switch protocol in the app: Touch VPN lists WireGuard, OpenVPN, Own protocol.
Update the app: the last update we saw is dated iOS v4.15.1, Sep 29 (2026).

If your network blocks VPN
Touch VPN does not state whether it offers obfuscation, and it does not mention protocols for bypassing blocks such as VLESS, Shadowsocks or Trojan. There are no site mirrors, no Telegram channel and no manual configuration files either. If an office network, a hotel network or a country with censorship cuts off VPN, the app has no backup route. In that case, check the services in the VPN with obfuscation list. Also, under the service's terms, access is restricted in countries under US sanctions and export controls.
Protocol, device and the free version
On a regular network, start by changing the protocol: the app has WireGuard, OpenVPN over UDP and TCP, and its own Catapult Hydra. OpenVPN over TCP often gets through where UDP is blocked. A kill switch is available only in the mobile apps; on Windows and macOS, if the tunnel drops, traffic will go past the VPN without warning. A second device may fail to connect: by default, the subscription is designed for one device, although the App Store promises more, so the limit depends on the plan you bought. In the free version, the service reserves the right to stop working while an ad blocker is on, so turn it off and try again.
Where to get help
Touch VPN has no server status page or help articles, so the only way to tell whether it is an outage or your network is through support. There is one contact: the email support@pango.co, with replies in English. A 24/7 chat is mentioned in the App Store description, but there is none on the website. Services where you can see server status at a glance are collected in the VPN with a status page list.
