Touch VPN is released by the American group Pango. The service's documents name the legal entity VPN Proxy Pro, LLC and TouchVPN LLC, while the footer of the site reads TouchVPN Inc. The address listed in the documents is Boston, 250 Northern Ave.

How the owner changed

In July 2020, Pango was bought by Aura, a company that sells identity theft protection. That is why the service's papers mention Intersections LLC d/b/a Pango, meaning a company doing business under the Pango name. In September 2024, Aura split into two independent companies, and Pango Group became a separate firm. In December of the same year, Pango Group merged with Total Security, the developer of the TotalAV antivirus, and the combined company is now called Point Wild. The Touch VPN website and its terms still carry the Pango name.

According to a 2024 press release, the same group includes Betternet, Hotspot Shield, VPN 360 and Ultra VPN, and the documents also mention Pango GmbH. Touch VPN and Betternet share a privacy policy, and Touch VPN support replies from an address on the pango.co domain.
