Panda VPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, but its procedure is more old-fashioned than most VPNs: you can only request a refund in writing.
Deadlines and how to submit a request
The thirty days count from the moment of purchase, not from your first connection. If you paid for a subscription and left the app untouched for a week, that week is already gone. Requests must be submitted in writing: by email to customer.service@pandasecurity.com, by fax, or by registered mail. Email is the fastest route here. Include your order number and the email address the subscription was bought with, so support does not have to come back to you with questions. Refunds are issued within 14 days.
What is not refunded
Support services you have already used are not refundable under Panda's rules. If your order included a paid support service and you have already used it, that portion of the amount will not be returned.
Panda says nothing at all about three other cases: purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, refunds for the unused portion of a subscription term, and money charged for automatic renewal. Panda has no monthly plan; subscriptions are sold for 1, 2 or 3 years, so a forgotten renewal will cost you at least a full year's payment. If you bought the app through a store, you will most likely have to send your request to Apple or Google and follow their rules.
How to avoid needing a refund
The free version gives you 150 MB per day on one device with a single location. That is enough to check whether the VPN connects on your network and how the app works before paying.
Is cancelling a subscription the same as getting a refund?
No. Cancelling only stops the next charge and takes effect at the end of the paid term; the only way to get your money back is a separate written request within the 30 days.
