A separate VPN Premium subscription costs $13.17 for the first year, which is about €1 per month against a market median of €3.13. Cheap, but the price on the Panda website is harder to read than on most VPN sites.
One price for every option
The VPN page has toggles for 1 or 5 devices and for 1, 2 or 3 years, but during our check the total did not change: only the annual price for one device was shown. The comparison table on the same site lists different figures, $6.57 and $10.95 per year for 1 and 5 devices, and from a browser in Europe the same amount of 13.17 is displayed in euros. The safest way to see the final total is in the cart before payment.
What happens on renewal
Panda does not publish its renewal price. There is one clue: a struck-through price of $21.95, from which the 40% discount is calculated. If the subscription renews at that price, the second year will cost almost 1.7 times more than the first. The VPN inside Panda Dome
If you need the VPN together with antivirus, it is easy to pick the wrong package. In the Dome Essential, Advanced and Complete packages (in the store €29.96, €41.21 and €63.71 per year for one device) the VPN is limited to 150 MB per day, as in the free version. Without the cap it only works in Dome Premium at €104.96. The free plan gives one location, one device and the same 150 MB with no tech support, while VPN Premium unlocks over 60 virtual locations and up to 5 devices.
