What it costs over one, two and three years
Paying month to month at $5 works out to about €51.60 per year and €154.80 over three years. Longer plans are far cheaper: the "1 year + 1 year free" plan at $19.95 covers two years, the three-year plan costs $39.95, and the lifetime plan is $40. The cheapest entry point, €0.71 per month, is more than four times below the €3.13 median across our main ranking.
Lifetime plan or three-year plan
The lifetime and three-year plans cost almost the same. The three-year plan's renewal price is not published, and the lifetime plan has no renewal at all, so at an equal price the lifetime plan looks the smarter choice. The two-year plan has the same uncertainty: the service does not say how much you would pay in the third year, so our calculation shows a dash after 24 months. The lifetime plan carries its own risk: it lasts as long as the service itself keeps running, and your money is paid upfront with no clear term. What gets added to the total
A dedicated IP in the USA, Russia or Germany costs $1.49 per month on top, and port forwarding is $1.2 per month. A subscription covers 10 devices at once, and each extra device costs $1. Taxes and VAT are not included in the price. Malware protection and the FastestPass password manager come bundled at no extra charge.

FastestVPN accepts cards, PayPal and cryptocurrency via NowPayments (BTC, BCH, LTC, ETH, DASH), with AliPay mentioned in the FAQ.
