Aura does not let you cancel the VPN on its own: it is part of the identity protection package, and cancellation covers the whole subscription, including credit monitoring and insurance. According to the service, monthly plans renew at the same price, $15 per month for one person. Aura does not publish the renewal price for annual plans.
Cancelling on the aura.com website
Sign in to your account in a browser, click the gear icon in the top right corner and open the Membership section. Choose Cancel Membership, then Cancel Online, confirm the cancellation and give a reason. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Cancelling through the Aura app
Open the three-line menu at the top left, then Your Account & Settings, the three dots at the top right, and Cancel My Subscription. The app will ask you to sign in and open the same Membership page with the Cancel Membership button. Aura warns that the app menu is being updated for some users, so the items may be in a different place. A subscription from the App Store or Google Play is cancelled in the store's own subscription settings.
Cancelling does not refund your money
The button in your account only stops the renewal. To get your money back for an annual plan, call 1-833-552-2123 within 60 days of purchase or of the start of the trial period, after cancelling. Monthly plans and purchases through Amazon and the app stores are not covered by this guarantee. The terms are explained on the page about the Aura VPN money-back policy.
