NymVPN has one plan with no tiers, the only difference being the billing term. On the official page in euros, a month costs €7.00, six months €31.50 (€5.25 per month), and a year €42.00 (€3.50 per month). In dollars, the year comes to $48, which is $4 per month, and in our tables that same amount is converted to €3.44. The median across our main ranking is €3.13 per month, so the annual plan sits slightly above it.

Where the 50% discount comes from

The service shows the yearly price next to a crossed-out $96, hence the "minus 50%". The currency depends on the country and payment method, and VAT is not included in the price: the page states that taxes may be added. The final amount may end up higher than the advertised price.

Renewal

The subscription renews automatically. NymVPN does not state the renewal price in advance: under the terms, it will be whatever applies on the billing date. So we do not calculate the cost for the second and third years, and the table shows a dash after the first term. Paying with a token and cryptocurrency

When paying with the service's own $NYM token, NymVPN promises a discount of up to 75%. It also accepts cards via Stripe, Apple Pay and Google Pay, GNU Taler, cash, Bitcoin, Monero, Zcash and around a dozen more coins. There is no PayPal. Money for the unused term is refunded proportionally: to a card within 5-10 business days, in $NYM almost instantly.

What the price includes

Ten devices at the same time, the two-hop mode and the five-hop mixnet at no extra cost, plus an ad blocker. There is a fair use rule: 2 TB per month.
