Canceling a subscription on the nym.com website
A subscription paid on nym.com with a card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay renews automatically by default for the same period: one month, six months, or a year. To stop the renewal, sign in at nym.com/account/login and open the Account section, then Manage plan. After cancellation, the VPN keeps working until the end of the paid period, and there will be no next charge. Do this before the renewal date: Nym renews the plan at the price in effect at that moment.
Account access uses a 24-word access code; Nym does not ask for an email at registration. Keep the code handy in advance: it is permanent and the same for all renewals and plan changes.
Buying through the App Store or Google Play
A subscription from an app store is canceled in the store's settings. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, NymVPN. On Android: Google Play, the profile icon, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, NymVPN. Renewals for such subscriptions follow Apple's and Google's rules.
Cryptocurrency, cash, and the trial period
Payment with cryptocurrency or cash does not renew automatically: there is no card in the account. When the period ends, the app stops connecting, and there is nothing to cancel. You can continue with a new purchase on the same account.
The 7-day trial period is available on the six-month and yearly plans when paying by card. If you cancel the subscription during those days, you will not be charged, and access continues until the end of the trial. Without cancellation, the trial period turns into a paid plan at the current price; details are on the page NymVPN free trial. If the renewal has already been charged, Nym refunds the money proportionally to the unused period, and the card is credited within 5-10 business days.
