Hola VPN refunds your money in one case: you have not used Premium at all within 14 days of purchase. This comes from the Hola refund policy. One connection, and your right to a refund is gone. After that, the only option Hola gives you is to cancel the subscription and keep using the paid period until it ends.
Where the "30 days" come from
A third-party review on security.org lists a 30-day money-back guarantee for Hola. The Hola help center says otherwise, and we go with the official terms. If you bought Premium planning to test it for a month, that plan will not work under Hola's rules. In our assessment, Hola scored zero points for its refund window.
How to test Hola before paying
Hola does not publish a Premium trial. Instead, there is a free version, but it runs on users' devices: spare resources on your phone or computer route other people's traffic. You can check speeds and the sites you need on it, as long as you accept that trade-off. Do not activate the paid Premium until you have decided whether to keep it.
What the terms do not say
Hola does not state whether it refunds monthly plans, purchases through the App Store and Google Play, or unused months of a longer plan. Auto-renewal is on by default, and Premium renews monthly until the subscription is canceled. Cancellation takes effect within three business days, so cancel early: the steps are on the Hola VPN cancellation page.
For billing questions, Hola lists the email billing2@hola.org and the phone number +972-9-8355993. If a clear refund policy matters to you, compare the refund policies of other VPNs.
