DuneVPN refund policy: how to ask for your money back

The homepage promise and the rules

The DuneVPN homepage advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. The refund policy does not mention this period: everything depends on the purchase platform. Dune Pro is currently only available in the Android app through Google Play, so Google makes the refund decision under its own rules.

Where to write

The policy sends you to Google Play support. Google's help pages suggest contacting the developer first: the developer can issue a refund directly, and it is usually faster. The safer route is to do both: email support@dunevpn.com and file a request with Google Play. If you think you were charged incorrectly, DuneVPN asks for the receipt, the transaction ID and your account details. There is no registration in the app, so the Google Play receipt is the main proof of purchase. If the VPN will not connect, the rules require giving support a chance to fix the problem first.

When you will be refused

You may be refused for breaking the terms, abusing the service, frequent or fraudulent requests, a charge made outside the refund period, and complaints about unsupported third-party services. That last point affects streaming: DuneVPN claims to unblock Netflix, BBC iPlayer and Disney+ but does not say in which regions. The trial period has a trap of its own: after 7 free days, the annual plan is charged at $11.99, and a refund of that charge is again up to Google Play.

Will you get a refund for the monthly plan and unused time?

DuneVPN says nothing about the monthly plan at $1.99 or about unused time. Cancelling stops future charges, but the policy does not guarantee refunds of past ones.
