DuneVPN offers 7 days of Pro for free, but only in the Android app from Google Play. Versions for Windows, macOS, iOS and Linux are not available yet; the site lists them as "coming soon", so you cannot try the service on other devices.
What the trial turns into
The trial is tied to the annual plan: according to the description on the site, after seven free days a subscription starts at $11.99 per year, which is about €0.86 per month. The service states that a card is not needed for the trial, and email registration is not required either. Payment goes through Google Play, so the subscription is visible and can be cancelled in the subscriptions section of Google Play. To avoid paying, cancel before the end of the seventh day; the procedure is described on the page how to cancel DuneVPN.
What to test during the week
DuneVPN has a free plan even without a trial, but it includes Google AdMob ads, a limited set of countries and no premium servers. The week of Pro is there to test what is locked in the free version: premium servers, all locations, the ad blocker and multi-device use. The service promises access to Netflix, BBC iPlayer and Disney+ and operation through V2Ray VLESS on restricted networks. These are its claims, and seven days are enough to check them on your own connection.
If the money has already been charged
The site's front page promises a refund within 30 days. The refund policy, however, refers you to the rules of Google Play, and it contains no 30-day term of its own. It is safer to make your decision about the subscription before the end of the seventh day, before any charge happens.
Is there a trial on iPhone?
No, there is no iOS app yet; the trial is only available on Android.
Trials of other services, with their lengths and terms, are collected in the section VPN free trials.
