AzireVPN user reviews: what customers report

64 reviews of AzireVPN collected from Trustpilot, App Store and Google Play. Most come from Google Play: 3.34 of 5 after smoothing. Reviews never change our score.

Ratings by source

Smoothed: a source’s average across all VPNs counts as 50 extra reviews, so a few five-star reviews cannot outrank thousands.

Two different pictures

On Trustpilot, AzireVPN has 23 reviews with an average of 4.04, or 3.78 after smoothing, which is above the average for all VPNs (3.66). The reviews there come mostly from long-time clients: they praise the company's own diskless servers, WireGuard, IPv6 support and the simple app, and several people have used the service for years. The app stores tell the opposite story. On Google Play, 22 of the 35 collected reviews are negative, with an average of 2.54, and the store itself shows 2.8 from 172 ratings with more than 10 thousand installs. On the App Store, 4 out of 6 reviews are negative.

The most frequent complaints

The main reason for the low ratings is account login. Users write that the app fails to create an account, a correct password is rejected as incorrect, and right after registration a message saying "account expired" appears. In December 2025, on macOS Tahoe, the password field would not accept keyboard input at all. The second theme concerns dropouts: an Android user complained in June 2026 that the VPN disconnects when switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data, and only restarting the app helps. Less often, people complain about failed updates and about the app switching off another VPN on its own. What to check when you run into similar failures is collected on the page AzireVPN not working.

Company replies and review freshness

The company rarely replies: on Trustpilot, 1 negative review out of 5 received a response, and on Google Play, none of the 22 did. Over the last 90 days, no new reviews have appeared, over the past 12 months there were 17, and in six of the nine months that had reviews the average rating was 2 or lower. Our own score of 4.13 out of 10 is not affected by the reviews. You can compare services based on what users say in the VPN user reviews section.
