Free VPN With No Credit Card: Trials and Free Plans Without Payment Details
All thirty-one services on this VPNRadarLab page share two traits: a free plan that keeps working after the trial ends, and a trial (or free access) that requires no card at any point. CitadelVPN tops the ranking, and five of the group hold an independent no-logs audit. Read more

No card at any step: what this list covers
The wider VPNRadarLab no-card trial list also includes services that stop working once the trial expires. Here the filter is stricter: after the premium sample runs out, you land on a usable free tier. Four providers (OllaVPN, FreeVPN.com, AtmosVPN, Zyra VPN) have no separate trial because the free plan is the offer, and two of them point to a 30-day money-back guarantee instead.
How long the no-card trials last
Trial terms are published for 19 of the 31 services; 8 don't state a length. Where stated:
| Length | Services | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Under a day | 3 | LightningX VPN (30 min), Uyou Booster (60 min), Yuutto (3 h guest mode) |
| 1 day | 1 | WorldVPN (24-hour email trial) |
| 3-5 days | 3 | FlyVPN, CitadelVPN, Symlex VPN |
| 7 days | 8 | DuneVPN, ZenMate, Bitdefender VPN, Ciphra VPN |
| 10-14 days | 3 | NetShade (no signup), VPNEU, Trickbyte |
| 30 days | 1 | avoVPN, via its Telegram bot |
Thirty minutes shows the app connects. Seven to fourteen days cover streaming, a hotel network and daily routines, which is the window worth aiming for.
What the free plan gives once the trial ends
| Service | Free data | Ads | Devices |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitdefender VPN | 500 MB/day | yes | 1 |
| WorldVPN | 200 MB/day | not stated | not stated |
| AtmosVPN | 10 GB/month | not stated | 1, 10 Mbps |
| OllaVPN | unlimited with fair-use caps, 10 Mbps | no | 1 |
| VPN Jantit | free account lasts 7 days | yes | 2 (WireGuard: 1) |
A few hundred megabytes a day handles chat and maps; HD video eats it in one evening. OllaVPN caps speed at 10 Mbps even where data is "unlimited".
Who pays for "unlimited" free plans
Nine of the services fund their free tier with ads: DuneVPN runs Google AdMob, Super VPN Unblock Master makes you watch or skip an ad before each connection, Uyou Booster trades rewarded ads for extra time. Three more (Super Free VPN, Bright VPN, EonVPN) use your idle connection for business traffic and all sit at the bottom of the ranking.
The top three compared
| Field | CitadelVPN | DuneVPN | LightningX VPN |
|---|---|---|---|
| Page / overall score | 8.37 / 8.74 | 5.37 / 4.87 | 5.30 / 4.96 |
| Jurisdiction | Panama | Saudi Arabia | USA (5 Eyes) |
| Trial | 5 days, 5 GB, 2 devices, once per account, via website account | 7 days via Google Play | 30 min on install + bonuses |
| Free plan | no ads | AdMob ads, limited locations | free server section |
| Email needed | no | no | optional |
| Cheapest paid | €1.38/mo | €0.86/mo | €4.30/mo |
| Refund | 14 days | 30 days, store refund rules | 30 days |
CitadelVPN opens its trial in the website account and has no auto-renewal. DuneVPN ships as an Android app only, with other platforms "coming soon". LightningX VPN comes from a 5 Eyes jurisdiction, is the priciest of the three and sets three devices by default on paid plans.
How the page score is built
Value weighs 40%, privacy 21.2%, security 14.1%, censorship bypass 10.6%, network and apps 7.1% each. That value-heavy mix rewards cheap plans, generous refunds and card-free trials, so the page score drifts away from the standard overall score in every row.
What they ask for instead of a card
No card rarely means no identity. Eleven services want an email as the anti-abuse check; readers who want to skip that can turn to the no-email free VPN list. Others rely on a store account (DuneVPN's trial lives in Google Play), a Telegram bot (avoVPN, optionally VPNEU), or nothing at all: LightningX starts straight from the app, Yuutto works in guest mode, and Ciphra VPN gives 7 days of premium with neither email nor card.
One trap worth knowing: a trial started in Google Play or the App Store is managed in the store's subscription screen. Cancel it there, because uninstalling the app cancels nothing, and store refunds follow the store's policy, not the vendor's money-back window.
FAQ
Can I take the same trial twice?
Of the services that publish a limit, none allow a repeat. CitadelVPN gives its trial once per account, and Mudfish issues its small trial credit once per user, which blocks repeats.
Is there a 30-day trial without a card?
avoVPN offers one through its Telegram bot. A money-back guarantee is different: you pay first and hope for a refund.
Is a no-card free VPN private?
Only five of the 31 have an independent no-logs audit. Read the privacy policy before handing the free tier any real traffic.
The short answer
